A key to the ease of use behind WebSketch is our state-of-the-art page Editor.  Unlike other solutions, our Editor allows you to position images, text, videos, and widgets anywhere you choose with drag and drop simplicity.  With WebSketch, you are not limited to restrictive templates and you have the ability to customize everything from the background image to the link colors for your sites.  The Editor turns the process of creating web pages into an intuitive and creative experience.  

Every time a visitor comes to your page, every image, video, widget, or piece of text on that page requires a certain amount of data to be transferred over the Internet. Your bandwidth level determines how often your page(s) can be viewed each month.  Translating this down to Earth, an average web page of about 200 KB can be viewed about 1,667 times per day before the Basic Account limit is reached.  In other words, if you are indeed hitting your limit at the Basic account level, you are really, really popular.

We have integrated Flickr directly into our Editor so that you can search, browse, and drop photos into your web page with just a flick of your wrist.  Stay focused on your creation and we take care of the mechanics.  If your pictures are not stored on Flickr, other photo site integrations are coming!

Our Basic account comes with 1 GB of storage, and it goes up significantly from there for the Premium account level.  Even at the Basic Account level, that's much more than you may ever need for a typical website.

We have also integrated YouTube to make it much easier to use videos on your web page.  Search, browse, and even preview videos without leaving the Editor.  

It's about your branding.  Our Domain Name Mapping allows you to point a new or existing domain directly to one of your WebSketch sites.  With WebSketch, switching domain names or switching sites is simple and immediate.  Once enabled, your visitors see only your URL and your brand.

The output of your creation is an HTML page, similar to what typical web programmers may produce.  In more practical terms (for you marketing types), your WebSketch page content can be read and picked up by Search Engines like Google. So people are more likely to find you.

One of the key differentiated features of the Premium account is the ability to build sites made up of multiple pages.  

In actuality, a website is just a grouping of web pages.  It wouldn’t/shouldn’t matter to us if you build 15 sites of 1 page each, or 1 site of 15 pages.  But to keep our costs within control and to keep things simple, there are limitations on the total number of pages for each account level. 

Each website is essentially a grouping of individual web pages.  At the Premium level, we make it easy to pull various pages together into a site.  And then we make it a cinch to put up a nav bar, which automatically knows all your pages for that site.  It’s just another way to be sure you focus on the creativity and WebSketch will take care of the rest.
